We are looking for a marketing coordinator for a growing role in a global digital marketing agency. The role requires a self-motivated, creative individual with fantastic communication and organization skills and excellent time management.

A successful applicant will be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques, with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences. Top candidates will exhibit critical thinking skills, strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. This role will be headquartered in Portland, ME and can be primarily remote. Occasional in office days may be required for important meetings or projects, preference will be given to candidates based in Maine or New England. Additional travel may be required a few times per year. This is a partially billable role, expected to have a 50% billing rate.

    Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

    • Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities
    • Implement marketing plans for web, email, and social content
    • Develop content for branded campaigns
    • Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
    • Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities
    • Support both internal and external/client-facing projects

    Marketing Coordinator Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent experience
    • Approximately two years of experience in some sort of digital marketing environment
    • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
    • Experience with social media marketing
    • Solid organizational skills
    • Ability to clearly manage expectations and meet deadlines
    • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format

    Nice to have:

    • Google analytics experience
    • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress
    • Adobe Creative Suite skills
